Markets were green across the board yesterday as Wall Street clawed back most of its yearly losses. Boeing was a notable loser, though none of its planes fell out of the sky yesterday, which they must count as a win.
Both oil and treasury yields bounced back after declines.
Asian shares advanced off the back of yesterday’s rally on Wall Street. Likewise Europe.
Despite yesterday’s optimism, the US Congress is nowhere near a finalized deal.
American credit card debt was up more than 17% in 2023.
Natural disasters were responsible for $250 billion in losses last year worldwide. Typhoon Doksuri cost China $23 billion alone.
Congrats to Michigan, who pummelled Washington to win its first College Football National Championship since 1997.
