Good morning.

Unbelievable week in tech. As I sit here writing this, looking out the window at the trees, I can’t believe how much money has flowed into AI stocks in the past 2 days.

It seems to me that the market wants to go up. Oracle gained 27% on amazing order books, and Nebius nailed a new deal with Microsoft that spiked $NBIS by 44%.

A rising tide lifts all boats. Nvidia, Palantir, IREN, and others responded with upward swings of their own.

And as Sven Henrich put it, the same “market that rallied on every fake jobs number over the past 2 years is rallying on news that jobs numbers were fake.” Imagine that.

Plus, in the midst of it all, a slew of IPOs are coming down the pipeline to brokerage exchange apps across the country. Klarna’s is today, and it’s 25x oversubscribed already.

Lots to catch up on today. Let’s get started.

First up, Surf Lakes is giving you the opportunity to invest in the $65 billion industry of surf tourism when only 1% of people have access to real waves:

7+ Revenue Streams from One Business

Most companies chase one or two ways to make money. Surf Lakes has at least seven.

At the heart of it all is their patented 360° wave tech that creates 2,000 surfable rides per hour for beginners and pros alike. That single breakthrough unlocks multiple revenue streams: licensing fees, royalties, memberships, day passes, media, coaching, food, retail, and direct park operations.

It’s why surfing legends Tom Curren and Mark “Occy” Occhilupo are investing in the company.

Actor Chris Hemsworth even said this after his Surf Lakes experience: “What an incredible setup! Really thankful I got to test this out…an awesome day.”

Surf tourism is a $65B global industry, yet fewer than 1% of people can access real waves. Surf Lakes makes it possible anywhere, turning cities into surf destinations.

They’ve already sold nine licenses worldwide, and the expansion is coming. Back Surf Lakes by 9/12 and get up to 15% bonus shares.

📰 Market Headlines

Stocks climbed to new records Tuesday.

  • The Dow rose 0.5%, the S&P 500 gained 0.3%, and the Nasdaq added 0.4% for its second straight record close.

Klarna’s IPO is today, and shares are launching at $40 apiece, which is above the expected range. The IPO is currently ~25x oversubscribed. $KLAR will be available for trading through most stock brokerage apps. You can see upcoming IPOs in our 📊 IPOs and Earnings section below. Always DYOR.

$BLSH stock alert: Bullish’s stock is down 67% since its IPO, but it could drop even further on October 12th. Brokerage apps like Robinhood lock you out of future IPOs for 60 days if you sell your shares within 30 days after an IPO. Since that’s the case, it would follow that traders might be waiting until Sep 12 (30 days after $BLSH’s IPO) to dump their shares, which could drive its price down. No guarantees, and this is not trading advice, but it’s something to think about.

Speaking of Robinhood, the app announced it’s now offering short selling as a trading option. Users will also be able to run multiple trading accounts at once.

Oracle stock catapulted nearly 27% after hours as the company projected more than half a trillion dollars in booked cloud orders. CEO Safra Catz also forecasted AI-driven cloud revenue to hit $144 billion by 2030, up from $18 billion this year. The company signed four multibillion-dollar contracts in Q1, pushing its backlog to $455 billion.

Apple’s iPhone 17 reveal was lackluster. The new $999 iPhone Air (the thinnest phone ever at 5.6mm) was outshone by the AirPod Pro 3’s built-in automatic translating capabilities, which caused a 5% drop in Duolingo shares. Shares slipped 1.5% after the event, despite the Air’s titanium frame, A19 Pro chip, and new dual-camera recording features.

Eightco $OCTO shares rose 5,600% on Monday after the company announced a treasury for Worldcoin, the Sam Altman-founded identity verification crypto project. Eightco’s Chair Dan Ives compared the “World” project to Nvidia and Palantir, calling it an “Intersection of AI and crypto,” according to Yahoo Finance.

Nebius landed a $17.4 billion deal with Microsoft, and it set the AI industry on fire (in a good way). $NBIS shares rose 50% pre-market yesterday, $IREN is up 15.27% today, $PLTR rose 5%, and $CRWV catapulted 7.13% (even though Nebius is a direct competitor and has deals with Microsoft).

GameStop revenue jumped 22% in Q2 to $972 million, fueled by a 63% surge in collectibles sales. Shares rose 3% after hours as the retailer’s merchandising strategy showed signs of life against Amazon’s dominance.

Get direct exposure to bitcoin mining infrastructure

Blockware makes it easy to own your own Bitcoin miners — without the hassle of running them at home. You buy the hardware, they handle setup, hosting, and payouts. It's turnkey mining that generates Bitcoin yield while you sleep.

At current prices, a fleet of 50–60 ASICs could realistically yield $10k/month in gross payouts. And thanks to accelerated depreciation, U.S. investors can write off 100% of hardware costs in year one.

Mining also offers real upside: from 2020–2024, holding Bitcoin returned 627%. But mining returned over 1,000% when resale value was included.

🚨 Trending on Reddit

  • Klarna's ($KLAR) upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO) on Reddit, with many users expressing their intent to buy and hold shares during the IPO. There is a mix of anticipation and humor as some plan to sell shortly after trading starts while others speculate about the potential performance of Klarna's stock. Some users also compare Klarna's opening value to that of Affirm, suggesting it has room for growth due to its popularity.

  • Rubrik's ($RBRK) recent financial performance has been getting a lot of buzz on Reddit recently. Despite crushing earnings expectations, the company's stock stayed flat (though it spiked 5% in after hours yesterday before dropping 8%). There is also comparison being made with Oracle Corporation (ORCL), which saw the opposite effect: a significant increase in its share price despite missing earnings estimates.
