  • Warren Buffett's invests in 3 homebuilders: Berkshire Hathaway (BRK) disclosed new investments in the homebuilders DR Horton (DHI), Lennar (LEN) and NVR (NVR). Other moves include reducing the size of its General Motors (GM) and Globe Life (GL) stakes while adding to its Capital One (COF) investment (AP)

  • The ruble is struggling: Russia’s currency fell to its weakest level in over a year and the central bank called an emergency meeting, signs of intensifying financial pressure on an economy weighed down by Western sanctions and the war in Ukraine (WSJ)

  • Argentina markets recoil: Pressure built on Argentina's currency and stocks on Monday after libertarian outsider, Javier Milei, who wants to axe the central bank, won a primary election (CNBC)
